Entec is a highly effective nitrification inhibitor developed by BASF that retains nitrogen (N) in the stable ammonium form for up to 8-10 weeks. Nitrification is the process which converts ammonium N to mobile nitrate N in the soil. This process is driven by soil bacteria and usually peaks 3 – 9 days after ammonium based fertilisers (e.g. GranSulam, Urea) are applied, and in so doing, delays the liberation of nitrate nitrogen which is prone to leaching and gaseous losses under wet conditions. NitroGold, with readily available forms of nitrogen and sulphur, is ideally suited for top-dressing post-seeding in situations where follow-up rainfall is unpredictable. This is because the Nitrogen form is not subject to volatilisation. NitroGold is an extremely efficient form of nitrogen that can be applied at the same product rate as Urea.

NitroGreen combines the immediately available nitrate nitrogen with the longer lasting ammonia form, and is ideally suited for top-dressing post-seeding in situations where follow-up rainfall is unpredictable. NitroGreen is an extremely efficient form of nitrogen that can be applied at the same product rate as Urea.

This product is a granulated and polished form of the by-product sulphate of ammonia (sulam). United Farmers Co-operative has constructed a granulation plant alongside its Kwinana Despatching Facility. The Granulation plant converts the sulam obtained from the refining of nickel at Minara Resources refinery and mine at Murrin Murrin.
GranSulam is ideal for blending with other base products and Trace Elements, ideal for top-dressing pre-seeding and suitable for seeder blends. GranSulam is a cost effective fertiliser that can be used to vary the level of nitrogen and sulphur in blends so that specific nutrient make-ups can be mixed to suit individual soil types.
