2002: Entered onto UFCC Agents Honour Roll
Below, Bruce talks about his experiences since he and wife Cindy became UFCC agents for the Miling district.
"Our incentive to become UFCC agents, I believe, was strongly in the philosophy of the company; to promote the family farm as a viable long term business unit. The loyalty shown by farmers in supporting the Co-operative has definitely formed the backbone of the company and contributed to its success.
The service we provide is based on the proven theory of trust and loyalty; being able to be contacted anytime, with high priority to "nothing is too much trouble" in responding to client queries, including delivery of chemicals on farm. We sponsor several community groups and events including the Kalannie Klassic, P & C and various sporting clubs. A notable highlight for me was receiving the 10 year service award.
There are great benefits of being a part of this Co-operative. Particularly for shareholders, the rebate at the end of the financial year makes UFCC products extremely price competitive.
I think everyone involved in UFCC, Central Support staff, sheds, agents and shareholders should feel very proud to have contributed to the success of the Co-operative."
