Nitrogen / Sulphur Range
NitroGreen®
The premium granular Ammonium Nitrate based fertiliser available to growers in WA. This product combines the immediately available Nitrate Nitrogen with the longer lasting Ammonia form. Trial results indicate that NitroGreen® is suited to post seeding application on all Western Australian soils.
NitroGold®
NitroGold® is a premium Ammonium Nitrate based fertiliser which also provides Sulphate Sulphur. This product is recommended for post seeding application on soils which require both Nitrogen and Sulphur.
Urea
The most concentrated granular form of Nitrogen. Best used when incorporated in the soil either at seeding or pre-drilled during cultivation. Urea can be lost to the atmosphere (volatilisation) and is not recommended for high pH soils.
When choosing to use Urea at higher rates, United Farmers recommend growers split the application.
GranSulam
An ideal product when Nitrogen and Sulphur are needed. The granulised nature of this product will ensure that its handling characteristics are excellent. An ideal fertiliser for blending, compatible with most other fertiliser products.
UFCC recommend GranSulam as a pre-seeding fertiliser as well as the ideal product to blend with other base products to increase the level of Nitrogen/Sulphur for seeding programs and for topdressing.
Sulam
A raw grade of fertiliser which supplies both Nitrogen and Sulphur, consistency may change with each load. This product can be successfully top dressed when spreading width is reduced.
